Who we are

Armadillo Bio is a free tool that helps researchers compare DNA synthesis prices. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

What data we collect

Email addresses — If you sign up for early access, we store your email address to send you product updates. We do not share your email with third parties.

DNA sequences — Any sequences you paste into the comparison tool are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or log your sequences.

Usage data — We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand how many people visit the site. These tools do not use cookies and do not track individual users.

How we store your data

Email addresses are stored securely using Vercel KV, a managed database service hosted in the EU/US. We retain your email until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can request to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us. If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, and to withdraw consent.

Cookies

We use localStorage to remember your theme preference. We do not use tracking cookies.
